Introduction: Simple Vegtable Noodles

this is a pile of spiralized zucchini and squash. nothing else added to it. They are very healthy and delicious.

If you are like me, right now I am overrun with zucchini and squash from the garden so I look for creative ways to use them up.

Step 1: Gather Your Tools

The key to this dish is a tool called a spiralizer

I have seen them anywhere from $10 to $100. I would suggest starting with a cheaper one unless you *know* you really want to do this a lot and often.

You can also get away with a cheaper one when you are using softer veggies. You can do carrots, or anything else you want.

so, the wrap up, the tool you need is a spiralizer and your veggies

Step 2: Prep Your Veggies

cut off the ends you don't want to eat

You can peal it if you don't want the peal but I like it, so I leave it on

Step 3: Insert Veggie and Turn

Insert your veggies and continue to turn until you have the desired amount

Step 4: Cook and Enjoy

I like to lightly fry and add some soy sauce to it. I am sure you can come up with some great ideas on how to use this!asz

Thanks for this! I bought one of those tools several months ago and have used it once (but loved it). Now I'm re-inspired!!!!

Where did you buy this tool? Can you share a link please? I've only seen the big bulky sets, I like how compact this is!
