A Sangria Spritzer with a 'TEA'Wist (twist;) ~a Zangria...or zingria..zengria(?)

That's right, Tea! Adagio Teas


Supplies

For a 1 Quart Pitcher:

1 Cup of a favorite fruit/herb Tea (brewed strong)

1/4 Cup Honey (suggest Orange Blossom)

Juice of 1/2 lemon or lime (reserve the other half for garnish, if desired)

1 Cup Sloe Gin

1 Cup White Zinfandel

Tonic/Seltzer/Club Soda

Ice

Optional, garnish(es):

Fruit (lemon / lime slices, berries, peaches, plums, etc.) Mint Leaves

Step 1: Brew, Booze & Bubbles

Brew Tea:
Bring 1 to 1 1/2 Cups water to a boil (you want to yield 1 cup for tea)
Steep 1 Tablespoon loose tea or 1 tea bag in boiling water;
>about 3 to 5 minutes

In a (1qt) pitcher:
⚫ Pour 1/4 cup honey
⚫ 1 cup Hot, "Fruity" Tea (*Strain- if loose/bulk tea is used) -stir, dissolve/melt honey
⚫ Fill pitcher 2/3 of the way with ice
⚫ Add 1 Cup Sloe Gin
⚫ 1 Cup White Zinfandel
⚫ Top with your fave bubbly water
⚫ Add the optional fruit / garnishes
⚫ Drink ...Refresh
