Supplies

Also the supplies that you will need is:

1) A mixing bowl

2) Measuring cups

3) A sifter

4) Glass or metal pan

Step 1: Strawberry Puree

The first step you need to do is the strawberry puree. You have to do the strawberry puree first because it will take the longest.

The first thing to do for the strawberry puree is to cut one pound of strawberries. After you wash them and let the strawberries dry a little for two minutes. Then after blend or use a food processor. Blend it till it's in a thin consistency. After you blend it all together get 1 cup of the puree and put it on the stove on a low/medium heat.

While it's on the heat make sure you watch the puree and keep checking on it. Reduce down to 1/2 cup. After 30 minutes consistency will be thick and very red.

Step 2: Dry Ingredients

The first thing to do is sift your cake flour or flour, which ever one you used. After you sift it then add your baking powder, baking soda, salt, then mix together. Mix the dry ingredients until it's well combined. After it's all mixed together put it aside.

Step 3: Wet Ingredients

Now your gonna start with your wet ingredients. Start by getting your 5 eggs and separating the egg yolks from the egg whites. After your done separating them set them aside.

Now get your room temperature butter and mix it with a mixer. (using a mixer is gonna be much faster and easier than using a whisk.)

After you mix your butter add your sugar then mix well. Then scrape the sides of the bowl so that everything is together. After add your egg whites to the mixture and mix. Now that you have all those mixed well add the sour cream and vanilla extract then mix. While your mixing those together add the dry ingredients. When adding the dry ingredients,, add it into 2 portions. After you add all the dry ingredients mix till well combined.

After you have added the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, the last two wet ingredients your gonna add is the egg whites and milk. Mix in the egg whites first then mix in the milk. Now the last thing your gonna add to the cake batter is the strawberry puree. After you add that in fold it in slowly with the batter.

(Don't mix the puree in the batter with a mixer instead use a spatula or big spoon so that it gets a nice consistency.)

When you add the strawberry puree you don't have to worry about the seeds because they disappear when the batter cooks.

Step 4: Baking

Now that all your ingredients are combined put the batter in a cooking pan. Glass or metal pan. Now bake around for about 24-30 minutes at 350` F. When the cake is done insert a tooth pick or fork to check if it is completely done. When it's completely done set aside to chill for about 1 hour to 1 hour and a half.

Step 5: Rolling Process

This step will get messy!

Okay so now that the cake had been cooled down cut the brown parts of the cake. Now that it's cut off the cake put it into a bowl and mash it up into a bread crumb texture. After get your frosting and put it in the bowl with the crushed up cake. Mash the cake up until it's well mixed.

Now after roll the cake-pops into 1-1 1/2 inch balls. Then put them on parchment paper or onto a round surface like a cake-pop mold, or just anything round.

Now after you rolled the cake-pops and placed them on a round surface your gonna wanna get your lollipop sticks/ cake-pop sticks and dip them into frosting so they stick on and don't fall off. After you dip them in frosting put them in the freezer to chill for about 25-30 minutes.

Step 6: Dipping Process/ Last Step

While the cake pops are chilling in the freezer for the last 3 minutes or so your gonna wanna make the frosting for the cake-pops. So now get your frosting and put it in the microwave for 10 seconds.

When you heat up the chocolate/ frosting you wanna do it in small amounts of time. You wanna do it small amounts of times in a row to make sure that the chocolate doesn't burn. You also want it to heat up smoothly so taking it out and mixing the chocolate till it's nice and smooth.

Now take out the cake-pops from the freezer and start dipping them into the melted frosting or chocolate. When you dip them roll the cake-pops until it gets covered all around. You can use a spoon to make sure it gets covered all the way around. (Let the excess of the chocolate drip off) After place them standing up on a styrofoam block or put it in a small cup so that the sticks don't touch the bottom of the cake-pop.

Now put back in the freezer and let chill for 2-2 1/2 hours. After the time passes you can enjoy your cake-pops!
