Introduction: Stuffed Crust Cheese Curd Pizza

For as long as I can remember my mom has made homemade pizza every Friday night. I put a twist on the classic cheese pizza by making it even more ooey gooey. This isn’t your average cheese pizza!! It is not only stuffed with cheese but has homeade cheese curds on top and sprinkled with even more cheese sure to satisfy any craving!!

Step 1: Ingredients for Pizza/ for the Cheese Curds

For pizza
* sugar 3/4 t
* flour 1 1/2 cups
* yeast 1/2 t
* oil 1 Tb
* water 1/2 cup
* a few handfuls of mozzarella cheese
* few handfuls of cheddar cheese


For the cheese curds
* 1/4 breading
* 3 cheese sticks
* 1 egg
* 1/4 cup flour

* 1/4 cup milk

Step 2: Make the Dough for the Crust

* to start combine the warm water ( 1/2 c) yeast( 1/2 t) and sugar( 3/4 t) together in a bowl and let rest for 5 min

* next mix in 1 1/2 cups flour and kneed with bread hook for 4 min or 8 min by hand

* let rise for 45 min

Step 3: Roll the Dough and Bake

* roll out the dough on a flat pizza pan

* put cheddar cheese along outside of pizza circle

* fold over crust

* bake crust at 400 degrees for 8 min

Step 4: Make Cheese Curds

* cut up 3 cheese sticks into fourths

* first dip in flour, then egg and milk mixture, and finally breadcrumb bowl

* fry for 1 min in 1/4 inch oil in skillet

Step 5: Assemble Pizza

1. spread pizza sauce on crust

2. sprinkle on cheese

3. put on cheese curds

4. optional: add on rainbow cherry tomatos, and fresh herbs

5. Bake

Top with Parmesan cheese if desired

Step 6: Let Cool and Enjoy
