Introduction: Super Easy Chocolate Croissants
You'll be ready for guests or a spontaneous chocolate craving at any time with this easy four-ingredient recipe.
Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees fahrenheit.
Step 2:
Gather your ingredients. One egg, one can of crescent rolls, vanilla, and one cup chocolate chips. The parchment paper isn't necessary; it just helps with clean up. :)
Step 3:
Roll out your crescent rolls. Place 25-30 chocolate chips on the larger side of the roll.
Step 4:
Brush vanilla over chocolate chips and crescent roll, generously.
Step 5:
Roll up your crescent roll around your chocolate chips. Have your egg beaten in a small bowl ready to go.
Step 6:
Brush beaten egg onto outside of roll. The egg helps with the browning of the crescent.
Step 7:
Place all your croissants on your parchment paper on a baking sheet.
Step 8:
Put in the oven for roughly ten minutes or until golden-brown! Make sure to keep an eye on them, as they may brown faster than you expect.
Step 9:
Patiently let cool... Probably the toughest step ;)
Step 10:
Melt remaining chocolate chips and drizzle onto croissant.
Step 11:
Ta-da! Delicious and easy.
