Looking for a sweet chilli sauce that is full of flavour and goes with any of your meals:

Meats
Pastas
Sandwiches
Cheese

Then you have found the right sauce for you. This sauce is full of sweet flavours of paprika and chilli.

Ingredients needed:

1 x Red capsicum
1 x Red onion
6 x Red chilli ( to your hotness)
6 x Green chilli ( to your hotness)
1 x Yellow paprika
4 x Heap tablespoons of brown sugar
2 x Teaspoons of ground ginger
150ml Olive oil
70ml White wine vinegar
25ml Rice vinegar

Step 1: Prep the Ingredients

Chop all the ingredients into pieces. There is no need to cut them to small as you will be blending them at a later stage.

NB: I recommend using gloves when cutting chilli's

Step 2: Combine Ingredients

Once all ingredients are chopped. Add them to a pot and add in the remaining ingredients:

4 x Heap tablespoons of brown sugar
2 x Teaspoons of ground ginger
150ml Olive oil
70ml White wine vinegar
25ml Rice vinegar

You can adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding / removing the amounts of brown sugar used.

Step 3: Cook

Bring the pot to a boil and then turn down the heat and leave the pot to simmer for about 20 minutes or until all the ingredients have cooked through and are soft.

Step 4: Blend Cooked Ingredients

Once the ingredients have cooked through, remove the pot from the heat and get a stick blender and blend the ingredients to a consistency you like.

For best results blend the ingredients until smooth ( with a few small pieces left)

Step 5: Bottle Your Sauce.

Now pour your blended sauce into a container and put into the fridge to cool.

Once the sauce has cooled it will become a bit of a paste / sauce and thicken up.

Now enjoy
