Introduction: Tummy Love Fig Bars
Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients
Crust
1 c flour
1/4 c granulated sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
Filling
8 oz chopped figs
1/4 c raisins.(optional)
1/4 c granulated sugar
1 cup boiling water
Topping
1/4 c flour
1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c oats
1/2 stick butter
Step 1:
Spray a 9 inch square pan with cooking spray and preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2:
In a bowl, beat the ingredients for the crust until well blended. Then press the dough into the bottom of the pan and bake for approximately 10 minutes.
Step 3:
While the crust is baking, combine and cook the filling ingredients on the stove for 10 minutes.
Step 4:
When the crust is done cooking, pour in the filling.
Step 5:
In a small bowl, blend or stir the topping ingredients until well mixed. (The mixture will be slightly crumbly.) Now sprinkle this over the filling.
Step 6:
Bake the bars for about 20 minutes or until slightly browned. Now you can cut, serve, and enjoy!
