Introduction: Tuna Man-sagna! (aka: Super Easy Tuna Lasagna)
So easy and delicious!!! My husband's recipe for Man-sagna - aka super easy tuna lasagna- no pre-cooking of sauces or pastasheets - ready in about 45 minutes or less from start to finish. Just layer it all up and you are ready to bake! No special skills required. Perfect for a quick, tasty and healthy dinner - and no you don't have to be a man to make it!
serves 3-4 people:
10-12 lasagna sheets
2 tins chopped tomatoes
2 tins tuna steak/chunks
1 tbs mixed herbs
1 tub cream cheese/ricotta (300-400g)
1 ball sliced mozzarella
150-200g strong cheese grated (e.g. mature cheddar, parmesan, pecorino)
(lots of) black pepper!
Step 1:
mix drained tuna with chopped tomatoes, add chopped herbs and season with (lots of!) black pepper. You can of course put as much black pepper as you like. Mr Man-sagna maker likes LOTS!!!!! of black pepper!
Step 2:
layer tomato and tuna mix with alternate layers of pasta sheets, cream cheese, and grated strong cheese
Step 3:
top the final cream cheese and strong cheese layer with the sliced mozzarella
Step 4:
bake in a 180C-200c oven for 30-40 minutes. It's done when the pasta is cooked through and nicely golden on top.
Step 5:
serve with a salad or veg of choice
I hope you enjoy!
