Step 1: Variable Decor

Step 2: Tools and Materials.

Materials: Cloth, pieces of plastic pipes, gypsum or alabaster, finishing putty, white paint.Tools: bucket, putty knife, scissors, brush, silicone gun, sandpaper for putty.I used detergent to lubricate the pipes.Also in my store there was only an alabaster without gypsum. But there is a small plus, since the alabaster dries faster.I used alabaster.I also used the fabric in which I had this agrofiber. It has micro-perforation.

Step 3: Number of Pipes?, Pipe Marking, Fabric Cutting and Pipe Lubrication.

So for the basis of my pipes I used pieces of plastic pipes that I had.I approximately made a drawing of my decor and calculated the number of tube elements as I needed.Since plastic tubes of different lengths, my gypsum tubes will be of different lengths and different diameters.In order to make it easier to separate the alabaster from the tube, I left gaps on the tubes. I drew the beginning and end for the alabaster fabric on the tube.It’s also half the tube, we measure the diameter of the plastic pipe and divide it into halves, this will be the width of our fabric.So we get the length and width for the fabric blank.Now mark the fabric into blanks and cut it out.Plastic tubes need to be fixed on the table so that they do not spin. We use any stops.Before gluing the fabric, you need to grease the tube. I used a detergent and yes it helps to separate the fabric from the tube.

Step 4: We Make the Solution, Wait for It to Dry, Separate It, Apply the Finishing Putty.

Now we make a solution of alabaster as a sour cream.Soak the fabric in the solution.Lay the fabric on the tube.And so we do for all pipes as much as we need.We are waiting for our blanks to dry. When they dry, you will see how the blanks turn white.After drying, the edges of the work piece can be gently torn with a spatula if necessary.As experience has shown, it is best to separate the workpiece from the gray pipes. From the other pipes, the work piece is poorly departed.Initially, I did not chase the ideal surface of the workpiece and it turned out to be a little embossed.So the inner part of the workpiece is not perfect, there are potholes.To improve the surface and interior, we apply a layer of finishing plaster with a brush. We spread the putty to the consistency of sour cream and apply.We wait until the putty layer dries.

Step 5: We Clean the Tubes, Make the Fastening, Mark the Wall and Fasten the Tubes.

After the putty dries, we clean the surface with an emery cloth.Dust is removed with a brush.We paint our tubes.After complete drying, we make fastenings for the tube.For fastening the tube, I used pieces of construction fishing line, it is reliable.That's all you can mount our tubes on the wall according to the drawing that you choose.The method of fastening through thin nails gives a hole in the wallpaper. Therefore, the concept of changing this decor will bring new holes.Perhaps another way of fastening?Also, the tubes are well cut with a metal saw with very small teeth.The tubes are very light.I like now how this decor adorned my wall.
