Introduction: White Chocolate Snack Mix
This snack mix is seriously addictive! With the sweet and salty combination, you can't go wrong. You can switch up the ingredients to use up whatever you have on hand at home (different cereals, chopped up candy, break up pretzels, leave out marshmallows, add dried cranberries, etc.). It's another quick and easy snack that everyone seems to gobble up.
Step 1: Gather the Ingredients
1 (10 oz.) bag mini salted pretzels (~3 c. of mini pretzels)
2 c. toasted oat cereal (such as Cheerios)
2 c. crispy corn cereal squares (such as Chex)
2 c. mini marshmallows
1 (8.2 oz. bag) candy coated chocolate candies (such as M&Ms - I used peanut M&Ms for this version)
1/2 c. salted peanuts
1 (11 oz.) bag white chocolate chips
2.5 tsp. vegetable oil

1 (11 oz.) bag white chocolate chips
2.5 tsp. vegetable oil
Step 2: Prep Area
Line 2 baking sheets with wax paper/parchment paper and set aside. This is where the snack mix will go when you are done mixing it up so it can cool and set.
Step 3: Mix It Up
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl EXCEPT for the white chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Make sure that the bowl is large enough!
In separate microwave-safe bowl, heat white chocolate chips and vegetable oil on medium-high heat for 1 minute, stirring once. Heat for 10 second intervals, stirring after each, until chocolate is smooth and melted.
Pour chocolate over cereal mixture and stir until evenly coated (don't forget to make sure all of the goodies at the bottom get coated!).

Step 4: Let Cool, Then Eat!
Spread mixture onto prepared baking sheets and let cool. Break apart once mixture is cool and put into serving bowl, cellophane bags with ribbon, etc. Store leftovers in airtight container (not like there will be any left after everyone tries it!).
