Introduction: Why Didn't I Think of This Sooner?

About: Saving the world..... without a cape.

In my garage I have the paper towel holder, however I have been wasting paper towels for years.

Check car oil, use paper towel. Drop of oil on counter, use paper towel. Drop of paint, another paper towel. All of the small cleanups could be done with 1-2 sheets of toilet paper couldn't they?

Not to mention blowing one's nose with a paper towel is not real pleasent either. Like I said why didn't I think of this sooner?

Step 1: You Probably Have This in Your Scrap DrawerI

If not, it's a buck or two max.

1. Small piece of 1/2 inch pvc, not much is needed. Cut into 2 pieces, use your own measurements for your size

2. One 90 elbow

3 Two caps

Put together as shown, saving 2nd cap for next step.

If you want to spend a little more you could substitute a flange for the second cap. $.29 vs $4.00, I think I will use a cap as there is virtually no weight or stress on unit. It is more than sturdy with just the cap.

Step 2: Drill a Hole Through 2nd Cap

Drill bit depends on screw size you want to use. I just used a sheetrock screw for mine.

Step 3: Mount Cap Where You Want

Mount to a stud, board or whatever

Step 4: Done

Push the rest of assembly into the cap. Add toilet paper of your choice. Crack a cold one and pat yourself on the back.
