Zig-Zag Friendship Bracelet

Very difficult bracelet. 6 strings (3 colors). If there are any questions about forward, backward, forward-backward, backward-forward knots see my other bracelet tutorials for in-depth reviews.

Step 1: How to Begin:

Order strings 1 1 2 2 3 3
1 = yellow
2 = pink
3 = blue

Step 2: Note:

Tape as you go.  The ends will curl up and taping the sides down will help flatten it out.

Step 3: Forward Knot

Use the left-most string (yellow) and make 5 forward knots (1 yellow, 1 pink, 1 pink, 1 blue, 1 blue)
Now the order should be 1 2 2 3 3 1
Use the second yellow and make 5 forward knots (1 pink, 1 pink, 1 blue, 1 blue, 1 yellow)
Now the order should be 2 2 3 3 1 1
Repeat these steps with the 2 pinks and 2 blues

Step 4: Forward Backward Knot

Using the second blue string (last one you used) make a backward knot on the other blue string.

Step 5: Backward

Use the same blue string to make 4 backward knots (1 pink, 1 pink, 1 yellow, 1 yellow)
Now the order should be 3 1 1 2 2 3
Use the right-most blue string to make 5 backward knots (1 pink, 1 pink, 1 yellow, 1 yellow, 1 blue)
Now the order should be 3 3 1 1 2 2
Now make 5 backward knots with the 2 yellows and 2 pinks.
Now the order should be 1 1 2 2 3 3

Step 6: Backward Forward Knot

Using the second yellow string (the one you just used) make a forward knot on the other yellow.
Using the same string make 4 more forward knots  (1 pink, 1 pink, 1 blue, 1 blue)
The order should now be 1 2 2 3 3 1 .

Step 7: Repeat

Repeat steps 3-6 until you reach desired length.
(forward, forward-backward, backward, backward-forward)
