Before you begin using bObi, make sure to read through her instruction manual and set her up properly.

  1. Don't forget to peel off the protective layer of transparent adhesive plastic from bObi's top cover!
  2. The brushes and filters are set up for you, but bObi will need you to install her battery before you turn her on. Flip bObi over and remove the four screws holding down the battery cover, then connect the battery to her. Slide the battery into the opening and reinstall the cover to secure it inside.
  3. After a long day of travel, when bObi first arrives at your house, she will need to be energized. Let her rest on her docking station for 12 to 14 hours before her first cleaning of your home.
  4. Setting bObi to charge can be done in three simple ways:
    • Plug the wall adapter that comes with the charging station directly into bObi’s side to manually charge her.
    • Plug the adapter into the charging station, place it against a wall, and put bObi on top of the station.The most common way bObi will charge throughout her lifetime is by automatically docking herself.
    • Turn on bObi’s power switch, then press Juice on her cover or remote to send bObi to the station on her own. The center light of bObi’s cover will blink when she is charging and stop flashing when the battery is full.
