Draw a Basic Face

draw an oval

draw a cross shape across the face, one line vertically and one line horizontally

draw circles for eyes in the middle of the face

Step 1: Eyes & Nose

make a pupil in the corner of your eye, add a white circle to show light reflecting off your eye

make a hook from the top of your eye down the front of your face (lightly)

add a ball at the end of the line for your nose

leave enough space for a mouth and a chin

Step 2: Shading!

make a curvature at the bottom of your nose, right above the mouth

erase lines from your face

add eyebrows

shade with your finger the right half of your face

Step 3: Highlighting

to add brightness use an eraser

highlight under the eyebrow, the bridge of your nose and your cheeks

Step 4: Your Almost Done ;)

add hair

your done :)

How do you know where the shading is? Great tips on shading. Could you take a pictures each step.
