Introduction: 2 Minute French Toast

French toast is a go-to breakfast dish. But it's time consuming. Not to mention all those dishes...! This is a fast prep, one dish recipe for this delicious breakfast favorite! For those short on time, it's a Breakfast Life-Hack! Skip the dishes and surprise your valentine with breakfast in bed! It's super easy and cooks up in one little dish in only 2 minutes!

You need:

  • 2 cups chopped bread (about 3 thin slices)
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbs milk
  • 1 Tbs syrup (or honey)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of Salt
  • Syrup or Honey (optional)
  • Chopped Pralines (optional)

Step 1: Chop the Bread

Cut 2-3 slices of bread into 1/2 in squares. You want about 2 cups.

Step 2: Mix It Up!

In a bowl, mix the egg, milk, syrup, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Add the bread cubes and toss to coat the bread.

Step 3: Cook It Up!

Pour your coated cubes into a souffle cup, or a mug. Microwave for 2 minutes. Top with a drizzle of syrup and sprinkle with chopped pralines. ENJOY!!!
