Introduction: 5 Ingredient Pizza Sause

I threw pizza's in quite a few restaurants over the years and have tried lots of sauces and crusts.  And while I am still looking for a good dough recipe to make a nice thin crust, I do have a good sauce recipe.  This is my first Instructable and I'm doing it for the pizza contest with the hopes of winning the pizza slicer.  At any rate, I hope you enjoy.

Step 1: Ingredients

Depending on how saucy you like your pizza this will make enough for 2 to 4 pizza's.  The last two ingredients aren't pictured because Wife was one her way home with them when I took the pictures.

14.5 oz. can of Diced Fire Roasted Tomatoes
10.75 oz can Cream of Chicken {Or Mushroom} Soup
2 Tbls Italian Seasoning
2 Tbls Fresh Grated Romano Cheese
1 Tbls Garlic Powder

Step 2: Equipment

A wand mixer to mix and shred the ingredients together and a pot to cook it in.

I would also recommend a silicone scraper of some sort and a ladle for using the sauce, but since this Instructable is just about making the sauce, I left those out.

Step 3:

Now to put it all together.  Yes, I know it doesn't look so good in the picture.

Turn the pot to medium high heat.
Open Cream Of Chicken/Mushroom Soup and empty into pot.
Bring soup to almost bubbling stage to get it loose in the pot.
Add in Italian Seasoning, Romano, Garlic Powder, and Diced Fire Roasted Tomatoes.
Apply wand mixer to shred up the tomatoes to desired consistency, I prefer mine smooth.

Step 4:

Bring sauce to a boil on medium high heat and let cook down for about 15 to 20 minutes.  Time may vary depending on how thick you want it to get.  Remember, something will be more fluidy when it is real hot than when it cools down.

Step 5:

And there we have the sauce.  I hope you enjoy it.
