Introduction: Active Solar Panel(tiny PC_part 2)

About: As a young kid, my curiosity in electronics was compelling.... why does thunder interrupt the radio reception? ....why does ROBOTs run without any wire?.... and I've been hooked on making thing ever since.

1) easy.

2) simple.

3) homemade.

4) portable.

5) without battery.

In outer space.
both space-station and satellite things will not carry anything that no need.

i am wondering about that how to disconnect the usb cable

from notebook and run it standalone out.

as if shall i attached the standalone computer under my solar panel,
therefore i should disconnect the batteries and disconnect the USB cable then,

but still send the voltage value back ! but how ?

Step 1: Old PCs

The monitor in 1970 mostly like 50 x 50 x 70 cm,

and the Apple ][ is mostly like 10 x 50 x 85 cm.

so, i gotta shrink it into 0.5 x 2.5 x 4.2 cm.

ie, i could use that arduino which just is "nano" then !

Step 2: How to Make It Stand Alone?

how to run it without USB cable?

means : how to make the arduino_tiny PC portable?

ie, how to make the arduino_tiny PC standalone without battery and monitor?

Step 3: Use a Mini TV Instead

1) take the batteries away , beside the solar panel.

2) connecting the RCA cable.

but how?

Step 4: Materials

1) arduino nano x 1(for every panel)

2) RCA cable x 1(for every panel)

3) mini monitor x 1

4) solar panel x 1

5) 1K Ohm x 1

6) 470 Ohm x 1

7) 2.2K Ohm x 3(for every panel)

Step 5: Circuits

but how to connect pin(s) to RCA to TV?

pretty easy :

1) CONNECT PIN9 == 1K == RCA

2) CONNECT PIN7 == 470 == RCA

3) CONNECT A WIRE GND ==== RCA_GND

4) CONNECT A1 A WIRE ==== TO SOLAR PANEL(2.2K)

5) CONNECT A WIRE GND ==== TO SOLAR PANEL GND

6) CONNECT A WIRE VIN ==== TO SOLAR PANEL V+

Step 6: Test Run

take the huge monitor away !

and take the huge Notebook away !

i remove the BASIC from nano for gainning memory

and use TVout library !

Step 7: Finished and Further

Setup a patch panel inside the space-station,
in order to shoot solar panel to usable at once.

if show up the power good then connect- it !

PHOTO : i try to connect 12V solar panel indoor.

but 12V fry the nano , so that i use 2.2K * 3 to devide by 3 !

made the every solar panels are active and smart !!

Step 8: Code

Here is the code in C.

coz i remove the BASIC already.

for remove the Notebook in deed,

and i include the tvout lib !
