Introduction: Bomb-est Breakfast Burrito Ever!

About: To start, my name is Anthony, but you can call me Anthony. I am not, nor do I claim to be a trained culinary chef. I am simply a dude who can cook, and my goal, is to teach other dudes, and dudettes just how e…

Need I say more? I'll give you the whole rundown on what I believe to be the best breakfast burrito ever.

Step 1: This Is What You Need

To be more precise than the pic,

3 Eggs
1 Burrito Sized Tortilla
1 Jalapeno
1/4 Red Bell Pepper
3 Slices Bacon
1/2 cup Frozen Hash browns
Cheddar Cheese
Vegetable Oil
Salsa

It is important to note, you can arrange the list any way you'd like, add sour cream, avocado, more peppers, less peppers, onions, the list goes on, I am simply giving you my version, that I like to personally eat.

Step 2: Preparation of Ingredients

Here we go! So, to start, get the griddle hot for the hash browns, a large pan works too, turn the heat to high, and add some vegetable oil, then wait till the oil thins, this means it's getting hot. In the meantime, start cutting your ingredients that require it. I usually just cut two slices of Red Bell Pepper, and then dice it to about half inch cubes. Cut the Jalapeno in half, and remove the seed pack in the middle. The flesh of the Jalapeno is not spicy, the seeds however, are, so if you don't like spice, but want the flavor of the pepper, remove all seeds, otherwise, add a couple seeds later on. Next step is to slice the bacon, or well, chop it smaller. You can leave it whole, but it's easier to mix later if you cut it into slices, about a half inch thick or so.

Step 3: Start Cooking Hash Browns

Place your Hash Browns, on the griddle or pan, and leave them alone, flip after about 5 minutes on medium heat, they should be golden, if not, it's ok, as long ad they are hot, you are going to mix them into the rest of the ingredients later any way.

Step 4: Start Cooking the Bacon

On high heat, add bacon to a small pan, cook until the bacon starts to brown.

Step 5: Add Peppers to the Bacon

While the bacon is still cooking, add the peppers, this will soften them, and bring out the flavor of the peppers. if you like them crispy, just cook the peppers for less time, I cook mine until the peppers start getting soft.

Step 6: Add Hash Browns

Mix in the Hash Browns, and cook for a minute or so, helps bring flavor into them, considering you don't spice them earlier on.

Step 7: Scramble and Add the Eggs

In a bowl, add however many eggs you decide to use, I do 3, mix them until scrambled completely, then add them to the mixture that's cooking in the pan, here's where the work begins, stir the eggs and mix together to get everything mixed completely, and of course, make sure the eggs are cooked fully.

Step 8: Heat Your Tortilla

Now that the Griddle is free, turn heat to medium, and place a tortilla on it and spread some shredded cheddar, on top, wait til cheese starts to melt, then remove the tortilla from griddle, and place on a plate for the final step.

Step 9: Flop, Plop, and Roll

Now that everything is cooked, and the tortilla is waiting patiently on the plate for the arrival of the hot scramble, give it to it. pour straight from the pan to the center of the tortilla and roll all together. Not gonna lie, I suck at rolling burritos, so I didn't show this step, and it would be difficult with one hand also.

Step 10: Get Some Salsa, and Eat That Mother.......

I put some salsa in a small bowl, and just pour it on top, but you can do this however you want, the important part is that you get to enjoy this awesome burrito, that you just crafted from your own two mitts. Enjoy
