Introduction: Candy Dispenser #HMS2018

I will teach you how to make a candy dispenser!

The tools you will need are:

  • cardboard
  • hot glue gun
  • plastic container/jar
  • scissors
  • bottle cap
  • skewer
  • ruler (optional)
  • spring
  • candy
  • spray paint (optional)

Step 1: Cut Your Cardboard

Cut your cardboard into three pieces like these ones.

Step 2: Spray Paint

This step is optional, but if you'd like the candy dispenser to be colorful then spray paint it whatever color you'd like.

Step 3: Cut the Cap of the Plastic Container

Cut a rectangle out of the cap. That is where the candy will fall out of. You should use a box cutter, but I didn't have one so I use a knife.

Step 4: Cut the Container

Cut a hole out of the plastic container. That is where you will pour the candy in.

Step 5: Put Skewer Through

Put a skewer through one of the cardboard pieces.

Step 6: Cut the Skewer

Cut off the tip of skewer. Then cut the bottom of the skewer.

Step 7: Hot Glue

Hot glue the skewer into place so it won't move.

Step 8: Hot Glue Bottle Cap

Hot glue the bottle cap then place the cardboard piece that you put the skewer through. The cap will be the button you press to get the candy out.

Step 9: Hot Glue the Plastic Container

Hot glue the plastic container to the cardboard.

Step 10: Hot Glue the Spring

Hot glue the spring in front of the container cap. Then hot glue the cardboard piece that has the skewer on the spring.

Step 11: Hot Glue the Other Cardboard Piece

Hot glue the cardboard piece without the skewer in front of the other cardboard piece.

Step 12: Pour the Candy In

Pour the candy in hole.

Step 13: TA DAA

And that is the candy dispenser. That was my brother who put ugly.
