Introduction: Caramel Banana Chocolate Dessert Sandwich

About: Hi my name is Zoe, with two dots over the "o". I like to express myself through cooking and art.

I recently just moved away from home and finally realized that I'm an adult now. I can kinda eat what ever I want, so I decided to make something absolutely terribly delicious for breakfast. Trust me you will not regret treating yourself to this dessert sandwich, its absolutely bananas!

Supplies

  • Salted butter or margarine
  • Brown sugar
  • Light soft bread
  • Nutella or chocolate spread
  • A Banana
  • A cup of tea or milk to drink with this delicious sandwich

Step 1: Lets Make Our Easy Caramelizing Sugar Butter

For one sandwich put about a tablespoon of salted butter or margarine and about a tablespoon of brown sugar in a small bowl and mix together until creamy. You can use white sugar if you don't have any brown sugar and a pinch of salt if your butter is unsalted.

Step 2: Making Our Caramel Bread

For this sandwich light soft breads works best like milk bread or white bread, but I have made this with my dads homemade ciabatta bread and its still yummy, just a little tougher.

Take your sugar butter mixture and spread on each side of the two slices then put in a pan on a medium heat. Watch the slices carefully as the sugars can burn easily, it should take about 2 minutes for each side to look toasted, but might be faster or slower depending on your stove top. Set aside for the next steps.

Step 3: Lets Get Decorating

Cut your banana into 1-2 cm slices depending on how thick you like your bananas, then spread the chocolate hazelnut spread on one side of each slice. Place your bananas on one slice and put the other caramel bread on top and you have one super easy and decadent sandwich.

Step 4: NOW ENJOY!

Now just plate and maybe pour yourself a tea and go enjoy your breakfast or early lunch to start off the wonderful day.

I gave half to my boyfriend who hates hazelnut and even he loved it.

HAVE A LOVELY DAY ! ~ Love Zöe
