Introduction: Crab Leg Spring Roll Cookies

About: A fitness Instructor, active mother of 3

This Deceptive Dessert literally has 2 main ingredients!

It is so easy, crispy and decorative. It looks like crab legs when baked and cracked open.

A caramel drizzle looks like plum sauce.

The best part is that its satisfies sweet and crunchy cravings.

Because these are baked it has lower calories than fried spring rolls.

Step 1: Ingredients

1 pkg of prepared cookie dough; mine is Easter designs with pink and yellow, that is why it looks like crab legs

(you can purchase or make any cookie dough you like)

1 pkg spring roll wraps; you will not use all of it and the remainder should be frozen.

black sesame seeds

oil for brushing

water for edges of dough

Serving Suggestion: ice cream and caramel sauce which looks like plum sauce

Step 2: Prep

Place 2 wraps on a clean surface.

Squish 3 cookies to make a log....2 cookies can be used also but, stretch them to resemble a log.

Place in the center of the wraps.

Fold over the point facing you.

Tuck in the sides.

With you finger, damped the edge of the dough with water.

Continue rolling to a tight wrap.

Place on a parchment or silpat lined baking sheet, pointy edge side down.

Brush lightly with oil and sprinkle with black sesame seeds (this is for decoration purposes only)

Bake for 15-20 min in a preheated 350F until lightly golden.

Step 3: Presentation

Serve with a drizzle of caramel sauce or any sauce you desire.

Crack open to show the effect of the inside colours of the cookies.

Your family and friends will find these rolls delightful and fun!

Enjoy with love!
