Step 1: Apply Eyeshadow

After applying your foundation, start the eyes off with a lighter brown or gold on the lid, then a darker brown in the crease.

Follow that with a white highlight to the brow bone and a white shadow to the middle of the lid for more contrast.

Step 2: Apply Eyeliner & Lashes

Apply black eyeliner to the top and bottom lash lines.

Then, take black liquid eyeliner and create wings on each eye, as well as inner corner liner to create a more dramatic look. Add false lashes for some pop and the eyes are complete!

Step 3: Create Nose

Heavily contour your nose by applying darker shades to each side and a light white highlight down the center bridge. Then, apply a dark brown or black eyeshadow to the tip of the nose and line it with brown or black liner for more definition.

Step 4: Add Spots

Heavily contour the cheeks and use white eyeshadow to apply small spots on top of the contour. You can also add this effect to your forehead, if you'd like.

Finish off the face with some light lipstick and dark lip liner.

Step 5: Put Hair in 2 Buns

Once the makeup is done, it's time to move on to the hair! Part your hair right down the middle to create two even sections. Then, put each half into a small bun to create the illusion of ears!

Step 6: Gather Materials for Antlers

Step 7: Cut Cardboard

If you're using a cereal box or two, cut large rectangular surface areas that are the same size. Then, layer the two pieces, one on top of the other, so the plain cardboard sides are visible in the front and back.

Next, cut them in half. These will be the foundation for the antlers.

Step 8: Draw & Cut Antlers

Use a pencil to draw the shape of an antler on one of the cardboard sides and cut it out.

Next, flip the top layer of the antler horizontally and place it on top of the other cardboard side. Trace the shape and cut that antler out.

Step 9: Glue Antlers

Take your hot glue gun and glue the sides of each antler together. Remember, you want the bare cardboard to be visible on the front and back.

Then, trim the edges to make sure the antlers are nice and neat.

Step 10: Attach Antlers to Headband

Slightly peel apart the layers of the bottom of each antler so the headband will fit in between. Then, hot glue the bottom layer of cardboard and place the headband on top.

Next, hot glue the top of the headband and press the top antler layer onto the headband, sandwiching it between each layer. Repeat on the other side and your antler headband is now ready to wear!

Step 11: Prep Outfit

The focus of this look will be on the makeup, hair and antlers, so the outfit is the easy part! Simply choose a brown or tan top (I went with a tan leotard), and brown or black bottoms (I went with black shorts). Get creative and go with something you already have in your closet to save time and money!

Step 12: All Done!

That's it! It doesn't take much at all to achieve this adorable deer look. It is simple and makes the perfect last-minute costume. Thanks for checking this out and I hope you like the final look!

*You can even make the nose red and rock this look during Christmas time. ;)
