This is a really simple recipe for cooking chicken in an oven. If you can turn on an oven you can do this.

Step 1: Prepare Your Chicken
For this recipe you'll need:
A whole chicken (remove the guts etc.)
An oven safe tray
Spices and herbs
Get your chicken, and cut it in half vertically through the breast and then "break" it so the gut cavity lies flat to a plate. Place the chicken on the oven safe tray with the gut cavity down and rub it with spices. If you'd like you can cut some butter pieces and push them under the skin of the chicken for a crunchier exterior. For the spices I recommend just using cayenne pepper, black pepper and sea salt.
Step 2: Cooking Info
Preheat your oven to 150 Celsius or 300 Fahrenheit
When the oven is heated up, place the chicken on the middle rack (don't put it to close to any side of the oven, keep it in the middle)
Set timer for 1 hour and wait.
After one hour check to see if it's fully cooked through and enjoy!
