Step 1:

add all of the ingredients below and blend with an electronic mixer

3 egg yolks
1/2 can sweetened condensed milk (my mom's recipe calls for a whole can but I prefer to use a half)
2 tablespoons of water
4 teaspoons of vanilla

Step 2:

add all of the ingredients below to your new mixture and blend manually

2 cups of whipping cream
1 cup of Oreo cookies (lightly crushed)

Step 3:

Freeze. As your "ice cream" begins to freeze be sure to mix it up as it begins to solidify; the cookies have a tendency to settle at the bottom of the mixture

Step 4:

Enjoy your cookies and cream ice cream!

Hi... You can def do this without the cookies. I have tried grapenuts (very popular in Jamaica) my mom has tried chocolate chips and strawberries and want to try bananas. I'm not certain if milk will work as it is lacking the sweetness and thickness that condensed milk possesses. Let me know how things work out!

Lol. Thanks. Lucky for you it makes a really small batch. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
