Buying girls cardigans are very hard because I wanted a light cardigan which is not made of wool and less price too. I couldn’t find any in my budget. So, I decided to make one for my daughter.

Here I will show you how I did.

Materials:

1) Gently used T-shirt

2) Buttons

3) Silky Cord

4) Pompom Apparel Trim

5) Rick Rack Apparel Trim

6) Floral Garden Sheer Ribbons

7) Poly Fleur Solid Woven Ribbon-White

8) Hot glue

9) Scissors

Step 1: How to Make Cardigan:

For making this cardigan I have used my daughters gently

used full sleeve t-shirt. So, first I cut the bottom part of the t-shirt about 3inch and then the front part of the t-shirt I cut it in the middle and made it 2 part. Then those 2 front parts folded and instead of sewing I used hot glue. Then put one button and for the buttonhole, I used silk cord and made a loop and attached with glue. And the cardigan’s bottom part and hands, I used pompom apparel trim and attached with glue. Then I made the ribbon bow and flower.

Making the flower: First, fold the rick rack ribbon and then that 2 parts of the ribbon you have to keep doing over under repeatedly until it comes in end then glued the last part. Then start rolling the ribbon until it finishes then glued it, and it will look like a flower. Then attached this flower to that bow and then this bow attached to the cardigan. And the cardigan is ready to wear.
