Step 1: Get Your Ingredients Out

Ingredients:

Step 2: Mix Your Dry Ingredients

In a medium bowl, sift the flour, baking soda and salt together.

Step 3: Mix Your Butter and Sugars

In another large bowl, using an electric mixer at medium speed, beat together the butter, and sugars until smooth and mixed together well.

Step 4: Mix in Your Egg and Vanilla and Then Flower Mixture

1. Add the egg and vanilla and mix on low speed until mixed in.

2. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix in until just incorporated. Do not keep mixing - do not overmix.

Step 5: Add in the Chocolate Chips!

Add chocolate chips and stir with a wooden spoon, again no overmixing, just until incorporated.

Step 6: Oven and Scooping

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

2. Line pans with no stick spray

3. Scoop mixture with a ice cream scoop and place about 8 on the pan- depending on size.

Step 7: Put Into Oven Then Enjoy!

Place cookies into the oven

10-13 minutes for large cookies

9-11 for smaller cookies
