Step 1: Materials
1 1/4 cups cake flour
1 3/4 cups white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups egg whites
1 teaspoon cream of tarter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
Step 2: Prepare the Egg White Mixture
Beat egg whites until they form stiff peaks
Add cream of tarter, vanilla extract, and almond extract
Step 3: Prepare Dry Ingredient Mixture
Sift together flour, sugar, and salt
Repeat five times
Gently combine the egg white mixture with the dry ingredients
Step 4: Pour Mixture Into Pan
Pour the mixture into an ungreased 10 inch tube pan
Step 5: Place in Cold Oven
Once in the oven, set it to 325 degrees F
Cook for about an hour or until golden brown
Step 6: Completed Cake
Invert cake, and allow it to cool in the pan.
When throughly cooled remove from pan
