How to Make a Delicious Cup of Hot Chai Latte




Chai is a traditional Indian blend of tea and spices, including ginger, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, black pepper, and cinnamon, typically brewed with milk. Brewing chai just takes five minutes, but should be enjoyed at a leisurely pace.

Step 1: You Will Need:

Chai, milk and sweetener.

Step 2: You Will Need:

Measuring utensils

Step 3: You Will Need

Small sauce pan, frother, small strainer

Step 4: To Begin With:

Measure 1/2 cup of water into a pan.

Step 5: Add Chai

Add one teaspoon of chai to the water.

Step 6: Boil

Bring it to a boil.

Step 7: Add Milk

Add 1/4 cup of milk.

Step 8: Simmer

Cover, reduce heat and simmer.

Step 9: Heat Milk

Heat another 1/4 cup of milk in a separate pan.

Step 10: Froth Milk

Froth the hot milk in a mug.

Step 11: Strain

Strain tea into mug.

Step 12: Sweeten

Sweeten to taste, with your choice of sweetener, and enjoy!

    I love this Chai Latte recipe, its so delicious and sweet! I make it often it doesn't make very much so i usually double or triple it! The extra milk froth makes it ever better- i bought a frother just for these! Thx! :D
