How to Peel a Mango

This is a simple instructable on how to peel a mango. Mangos are usually a messy fruit to peel aren't they? Well this well help you keep away from this mess! A while back I wanted to peel a mango, but i didn't want the mess that came with it. I asked my mom what would be a great way to peel a mango, and this is what she showed me.

Step 1: Gather Materials

You will need:
Plate
Knife
Paper Towel
Spoon
Mango

Step 2: Slice

Grab hold of the mango by the seed and carefully slice the mango right above (nearly on) the seed.
Flip over the mango and repeat process.

Step 3: Place

Place the mango slices on the plate.

Step 4: Slice Again

Slice straight lines or whichever designs you would like in the mango and then again in a different direction.
Do this to both mango slices.

Step 5: Spoon

Spoon the mango out of the peel. Be sure to stay close to the peel to ensure you get the most of your mango.

Step 6: Mango

Your mango is now peeled and you should have small bite size mango pieces.
It is an optional step to season your mango.
