Introduction: Hydroponics Grow Kits - NFT

About: Hydroponics growshop offering a huge selection of indoor growing grow light, growbox, hydroponic grow systems, plant growing, hydro and organic horticultural supplies and other grow-room equipment and indoor g…

By far the most popular form of hydroponics, tried and tested for over 20 years with spectacular results.
The kit consists of grow table, tank/reservoir, pump, spreader mat, reflective top sheet and full instructions. In short, the root zone of the plant is fed constantly and directly by nutrient film and recycled by the pump submerged in the reservoir.
When properly applied and maintained, this speeds up plant growth two fold and can quadruple or more the yield compared to soil.
Very low maintenance required.

Why use a YAROOTS NFT systems?
- It is simple to use
- It is the cheapest medium
- The yield is higher than with other mediums
- It is a stabile system, according to the pH and the EC values
- You have less garbage (no big amounts of coco, soil or hydro)
- Because the water is constant running through your system, there is no rotting or fungus
- Your plants can decide at all times if they are ready for fertilisers, because fertilised water is always flooding through the system.

Step 1:

Fill the tank with waters and nutrients as indicated on the scheme of your nutrient. An EC meter is very useful.

Step 2:

Crop the growing white panel as much times you need.

Step 3:

Place the draining towel (Spreader mat) under the growing panel. It give stability to the plants.

Step 4:

Insert into the holes the rockwool cubes previously propagated.

Step 5:

Start the system setting the timer for 15 minutes of irrigation every 2-3 hours and 15 minutes of irrigation in the middle of the dark period.

Step 6:

In the growing phase, set the timer on 18 hours of light per day.

Step 7:

Check the pH values of your grow kit every 3 days or each time you add something into the solution and, if necessary, correct the value with pH- or pH+ corrector.

Step 8:

Check the EC values of your grow kit and, if necessary, correct the value adding nutrients or diluting with water.

Step 9:

Always check the temperature of the nutrient solution. Under 18 degrees can be damaged and could give some problems to the plants.

Step 10:

Every 15 days change completly the nutrient solution with a deep cleaning of the tank with Atami Ataclean to remove molds, algae and saline deposits.

Step 11:

When you want to induce plnats to flowering change the daylight hours from 18 to 12hrs per day.

Step 12:

At the same variation of the light period give a bloom nutrients according to the irrigation scheme.

Step 13:

Check the pH values of your grow kit and, if necessary, correct the value with pH- or pH+ corrector.

Step 14:

Check the EC values of your grow kit and, if necessary, correct the value adding nutrients or diluting with water.

Step 15:
