Introduction: In House Smokey BBQ Sauce on Ribs

Smoky BBQ Sauce, tasty, sticky and so easy to make your own.

This In House Smokey BBQ Sauce can be used on any meat, poultry, fish or grilled veggies as well.

You will have your guests in awe of your culinary talents with this sauce.

Step 1: BBQ Sauce

In a small saucepot add
1 whole onion, peeled and finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
1 tbsp. thyme
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tbsp. white vinegar
2 tsp.hot sauce or to taste
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. liquid smoke
Simmer for 10-15 min until sauce is thick and reduced.
Spread sauce on pork back ribs that have had their thin membrane removed, rinsed and patted dry.


*Store or use immediately on ribs, burgers, beef, chicken, lamb or veggies.

* Pour a good amount onto the meat then spread with brush to prevent contamination.
Cook meat slowly on BBQ grill turning and recoating with sauce every 10 min. DO NOT ALLOW TO BURN
Left over sauce can be stored for up to a week covered and refrigerated. Can be made up to 3 days in advance.
