Introduction: Interrupt Pin With LED's and Button

  • Arduino UNO
  • Breadboard
  • 3- 220Ω Resistors
  • 1- 10KΩ Resistor
  • 1- Red LED
  • 1- Blue LED
  • 1- Green LED
  • 1- Button
  • Jumper Wires

Step 1: Connect Power and Ground

  1. Connect Jumper wire to 5v pin on Arduino to the positive rail on the Breadboard.
  2. Connect Jumper wire to GND pin on Arduino to the negative rail on the Breadboard.

Step 2: Add 1st LED

  1. Connect Red LED to F-36 negative end and F-37 positive end on Breadboard.
  2. Connect 220Ω Resistor to negative rail and to G-36 on Breadboard.
  3. Connect a Jumper wire to G-37 on Breadboard to Digital Pin 13 on Arduino.

Step 3: Add 2nd LED

  1. Connect Blue LED to F-30 negative end and F-31 positive end on Breadboard.
  2. Connect 220Ω Resistor to negative rail and to G-30 on Breadboard.
  3. Connect a Jumper wire to G-31 on Breadboard to Digital Pin 12 on Arduino.

Step 4: Add 3rd LED

  1. Connect Green LED to F-24 negative end and F-25 positive end on Breadboard.
  2. Connect 220Ω Resistor to negative rail and to G-24 on Breadboard.
  3. Connect a Jumper wire to G-25 on Breadboard to Digital Pin 11 on Arduino.

Step 5: Add Button

  1. Connect Button to E-16, E-18, F-16, and F-18 on Breadboard.
  2. Connect 10KΩ Resistor to negative rail and to G-16 on Breadboard.
  3. Connect a Jumper wire to G-18. to positive rail on Breadboard.
  4. Connect a Jumper wire to D-16 on Breadboard to Digital Pin 2 on Arduino.
