Patterns can be a great time saver on parts that have repeated features.
Step 1: Creating the Sketch
The first step is to draw the feature that will be used in the pattern.
Step 2: Creating the Feature
For this part an extrude cut was used with the sketch to crate the feature to be patterned
Step 3: Linear Pattern
The hole feature created in the last feature was the selected. Using the linear pattern and the settings on the tree the feature was created.
Step 4: Circular Pattern
The linear pattern was selected and then a circular pattern was selected. This pattern had 4 copies if the linear pattern equally spaced around the outside of the part.
Step 5: Circular Pattern
This is another example of a circular pattern in use.
