Introduction: Page Chompers

About: My hands are always itching to do something. Once I start something, I have to finish it.

These cute bookmarks are really easy to make, and take only about 5 minutes to make one. I'm a complete bookworm, so you might have guessed why I have so many.

So let's get started!

Step 1: Draw It Out

First we need to draw 3 squares of the same size like in the picture. I used 4.5 cms.

The squares have to be really accurate or your bookmark won't look neat.

Now , draw lines that cut the outside squares in half, like in the picture.
It should look something like dog ears.
Then , just cut it out.

Step 2: Fold and Stick

It's that simple. Fold and stick

Step 3: Make It Pretty!

You can use any type of embellishment, but in this case, I'm using newspaper. This is because this bookmark is for my mum, and she doesn't like the crazy whimsical ones that I do for myself.

I cut pieces of newspaper slightly smaller than the black paper and stuck it on the top of the front of the bookmark and on the back. You don't have to stick newspaper on the inside of the front of the bookmark because it'll be hidden by the book anyway.

Step 4: Use Your Imagination

You can do so many different types of bookmarks. Here are some examples to get you started.

I am planning to do multicolored striped one, by sticking striped paper on light blue card.
Hope you enjoyed my first ible!
