Polymer Clay Bookmarker

This is a simple craft project for all and makes a neat gift for that bookworm in your life! Plus it helps encourage summer time reading.

Step 1: Material Needed

Materials:
Polymer clay, Paper clips and a razor blade.
That's it!

Step 2: Polymer Clay

I used 3.4 ounces of brown clay then sliced it right down the center.

Step 3: Insert the Clip

Next insert the paper clip so that it is nice and snug in the clay. Press down and smooth the clay around the clip

Step 4: Adding Features

Now the fun part! There is no wrong or right way use your imagination and make some ears, eyes, pupils, a nose and muzzle (I forgot to include the puppy tongue in this picture)

Step 5: Bake

All that's left to do is bake it. I baked it for an hour at 250 degrees.
