Hey everyone it's momo and today I'll show you all how to make the Starbucks salted caramel cake pops. Even though summer is not the season for salted caramel , these are delicious year round. Enjoy! **** THIS RECIPE MAKES 50, IN THIS INSTRUCTABLE, I ONLY MAKE A HALF BATCH****

Step 1: Cake Pop Ingredients and Caramel Drizzle

Chocolate cake pop ingredients:
•1 3/4 cup sugar
•2 cups sour cream (I used Greek yogurt)
•1 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
•2 eggs
•2 cups flour
•2/3 cup cocoa
•2 teaspoon baking soda
•1/2 teaspoon salt

Caramel drizzle ingredients:
•1/3 cup butter
•3/4 cup light brown sugar
•4 tablespoons milk
•1 teaspoon vanilla extract
•1 1/2 cup confectioners sugar

You'll also need:
•milk chocolate candy melts
•white chocolate candy melts
•sea salt
•lollipop sticks

Step 2: Starbucks Chocolate Cake Recipe

1- preheat oven to 325 F* and grease a 9x13 cooking pan

2- In a bowl mix sugar, sour cream (Greek yogurt), vanilla, and eggs.

3- in a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.

4- now add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients. Mix until creamy and smooth.

5- bake 25-30 minutes or until you stuck a toothpick in and it comes out clean

Step 3: Caramel Drizzle Recipe

1- in a small saucepan over low heat combine the butter, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla. Stir continuously until the butter melt and sugar dissolves.

2- pour the sugar syrup into a small bowl to cool. Put aside 1/8 cup of caramel syrup to drizzle on the finished cake pops

3- add the confectioners sugar to the remaining caramel syrup, beating until smooth

Step 4: Starbucks Cake Pop Recipe

(I apologize for the lack of picture for these steps)
1- after the cake has cooled, pulse the cake in a food processor until it becomes crumbly.

2- in a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake crumbs with the caramel frosting. Stir until well combined.

3- shape the cake pops by rolling about 2 tablespoons of the cake/ frosting mixture in your hands until you have 1 1/2 inch cake balls.

4- take a stick and dip it in the melted white chocolate candy melts. Poke it into each cake pop

5- put the skewered cake pops into the fridge to cool for 5-10 minutes

Step 5: Finishing Touches

1- after your chocolate cake pops have hardened, you need to take the bowl of melted milk chocolate and dunk the cake ball in, holding it by the stick

2- put it onto something that will hold it upright to dry. TIP: use a styrofoam block and put the stick in. I don't have a styrofoam block, so I just used this.

3- once they have hardened completely, take the melted white chocolate candy melts and drizzle it on the top. It's okay if they don't look fabulous! They'll taste great though ;)

4- once that has hardened, drizzle on the caramel that you set aside earlier. After that, just sprinkle on some sea salt.

Step 6: Finished!

And it's as easy as that! These are truly delicious and taste exactly like the Starbucks pops. I hope you all enjoyed this tutorial and have fun! If you haven't already, follow me, become a member of the farm family and give a cow it's wings. Love y'all! •_£
