Introduction: Simple Rustic Pallet Wood Headboard

Step 1: Disassemble the Pallets
I used to try to pry all of the boards off of the cross supports. However, now I have realized it is much better to just cut the pallet with a circular saw on the insides of the outside rails sot that you only have to pry off the center support rail. You end up losing about 6 inches, but it is more than worth the time and effort it saves.
Step 2: Assemble the Board
Arrange all of the wood in a way that looks good to you. Cut off the edges, glue and nail the pallet wood to a backing board. Then it is just a lot of sanding and finishing.
Step 3: Mount It
Add supports to the backing board and attach it to the the wall with small "L" brackets.
