Introduction: Spider Web Cream Cheese Brownies

Halloween is coming! Halloween is my favorite holiday and I love throwing Halloween parties. And what do all Halloween parties need? SPIDER WEB CREAM CHEESE BROWNIES! This instructable will go into detail on how to create these amazing brownies and then make the entire pan disappear in a swarm of hungry party guests.

And if you guys really like it, you could vote for me in the Halloween food contest.

Step 1: Ingredients

To make these brownies, you'll need a few ingredients.

For the brownies:
2 boxes of Brownie mix (I'm using fudge brownie mix because I like fudgy brownies)
1/2 cup water
2/3 cup oil (I'm using olive oil but you can use vegetable oil)
2 eggs

For the cream cheese mixture :
Cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar

Step 2: Make the Brownies

Ok, so now that you have your ingredients all measured out, it's time to make the brownies.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees so it heats up while you get the brownies ready.

In a large mixing bowl combine the following ingredients:

The two boxes of Brownie mix
1/2 cup water
2/3 cup oil
2 eggs

Now grab a mixing spoon(a whisk is not strong enough) and stir until all of the ingredients are thoroughly mixed together and it's a good consistency. It should be a little thicker than cake batter if you're making fudgy brownies, or the consistency of cake batter if making cakey brownies.

Grease the pan and then pour in the batter. I'm using a 13X9 inch pan, but you may use any size pan you would like. A circular pan would add to the effect but I don't have one large enough to use.

Make sure the batter is nice and evenly spread out. Once it has been spread evenly throughout the pan, it is time to make the cream cheese mixture.

Step 3: Cream Cheese Mixture

Take about 3-4 tablespoons of your cream cheese and put it in a medium-sized microwavable bowl.

Stick the bowl in the microwave for 45 Seconds, checking on it at 30 seconds to stir it. Then put back in the microwave for the rest of the time.

Add sugar. I used 1/4 cup, but you can use more or less depending on how sweet you want it to be.

The consistency should be a very smooth, kind of like frosting.

Step 4: Making the Web

To make the Web we will be marbling the cream cheese mixture into the brownies.

To do this you will need a zip lock bag.

Take the cream cheese mixture and pour it into a zip lock bag. Seal it up and cut one of the corners off.

Then squirt one circle in the center of the brownie mix.

Next make circles expanding outward from the center circle.

After all the circles have been made, you can go back and straighten the circles up if they came out crooked.

Now you need to grab a butter knife.

Starting from the center draw the knife through the mix to the four corners to create the basis for the Web. Continue drawing the knife from the center until you have it all the way around the pan.

Step 5: Bake the Brownies

Now that the Web has been made, it's time to pop it into the oven.

Follow the directions on the box for proper cooking times for your elevation and brownie mix.

I will be cooking my brownies for 30 minutes.

Once you have the cooking time figured out, stick those brownies in the oven!

Check the brownies 5 minutes before they should be done just in case the got done faster than expected. You don't want to burn the brownies after you've worked this hard on them.

Step 6: The Final Step

Now that the brownies have been baked you need to let them cool for a few hours. You can stick them in the refrigerator to speed up the process if you can't wait to eat them.

After a few hours, it is time to share them with friends and family. Congratulations on making your first pan of spider Web brownies!
