Introduction: Sunset on the Beach - Frozen Treat

This is a perfect summer treat that is made to replicate the sun, the sea, the waves and the beach. Sunset on the beach in one popsicle, fun and creative frozen treat with multiple layers.

The red raspberry layer is the sun.

The blue yogurt layers represent the sea.

The white yogurt layer is the waves.

Finally, yellow yogurt and coconut layer represents the sand on the beach.

Step 1: Make 1st Layer - the Sun

You will need:

2 tbsp frozen raspberries, defrosted

1 tsp Greek yogurt

1 tsp icing sugar (optional)

Blend all ingredients and distribute to 3 popsicle molds. Don’t insert popsicle sticks and leave in the freezer to set for at least 1 hour.

Step 2: Make 2nd Layer - the Sea

You will need:

1/2 cup of Greek yogurt

Blue food coloring

1/2 tsp icing sugar (optional)

1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix half of yogurt with vanilla extract, blue coloring and sugar. Remove popsicles from the freezer and check if the top is set.

Spread thin layer of blue yogurt and leave in a freezer for half an hour. Store leftover yogurt in the fridge.

Step 3: Make the 3rd Layer - the Waves.

When the previous layer is set, spread a thin white layer of yogurt on top. Don’t make it even, it should look like waves. Leave in the freezer for half an hour.

Step 4: 4-6th Layers - Sea and Waves.

Repeat previous steps until you have 3 blue layers and 2 whites in total.

Freeze each layer for at least 30 minutes.

Step 5: Make a Hole for Popsicle Stick

Make a hole in the center of the frozen treats, using metal stick, heated in a warm water.

Check if your can fully insert popsicle stick.

Step 6: Yellow Layer - the Sand on the Beach

You will need:

1/4 cup Greek yogurt

Yellow food coloring

3 tbsp desiccated coconut

Mix all the ingredients for the yellow layer and add on top of the popsicle. Let some drip in the hole of the popsicle.

Insert the popsicle stick and check that the yellow layer is filled until the top.

Let the popsicles freeze for 4 hours or overnight.

Step 7: Enjoy Frozen Sunset on the Beach

To enjoy the popsicle, remove it from the freezer and let it stand about 15 minutes.

Then remove from the mold and enjoy. Serve on the ice, so it won't melt quickly.
