Because I come from an Italian Heritage, I enjoy Italian foods such as spaghetti and meatballs, or pizza. Instead of eating real pizza, which isn't entirely good for you, you could make your own pizza grilled cheese that contains cheese and tomatoe just like real pizza. This lunch is so easy to make, so it is a great recipe to share with kids. I hope you enjoy making your very own pizza grilled cheese!

Step 1: Ingredients
You will need...
2 slices of American New York cheese
2 slices of sandwich bread
1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
1 small tomatoe
A sharp knife
A cutting board
A toaster oven
A plate (To serve it on)
Step 2: Step 1:
Step 1: Lay out your two slices of bread and put the two slices of cheese on one of the slices of bread.
Step 2: Cut your tomatoe into circle slices and lay four of them on top of your cheese. (You may need more or less, just fill the surface area)
Step 3: Step 3:
Step 3: Sprinkle the Italian seasoning on top of the tomatoes, and put the other slice of bread on top of your sandwich.
Step 4: Make sure your toaster oven is set to toast, and pput your sandwich in. If your oven is like mine, you have three choices: light, medium, and dark. You're going to want to set it between medium and dark. If your oven does not have these choices, leave your sandwich in for 4-5 minutes.
Step 4: Enjoy!
When you take your sandwich out of the toaster, let it cool off, and eat up, or as we Italians might say, MANGIA!
