Step 1: Ingredients

Brownie ingredients:

  • 2 cups of walnuts
  • 3 cups of pitted dates
  • 1 tsp of organic cinnamon
  • 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp of Himalayan salt
  • optional-any amount of chopped walnuts

Chocolate ingredients:

  • 1 cup of organic cacao butter
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup of organic honey
  • a pinch of Himalayan salt

Step 2: Mixing

Pour 2 cups of walnuts into a food processor. Blend them until they are broken down. When they are broken down, add 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/4 tsp of Himalayan salt, and 1 tsp of organic cinnamon. Blend them until they are combined and have a dark brown color.

Step 3: Adding Texture

Next, add 3 cups of pitted dates. If you don’t like the brownie too sweet, then you could just add in 1 or 2 cups of dates. The mixture should stick together when you press it with your fingers. If it does not hold together, then add more dates. You could add some chopped walnuts if you like the brownie’s texture crunchy, but this is optional. If you do choose this option, then stir the chopped walnuts together with the mix.

Step 4: Shaping

Now spread the brownie mix into a pan. After spreading it out, place the pan in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes.

Step 5: Making Chocolate

Boil some water in a small pan over medium heat. After the water is boiled, turn off the heat and put 1 cup of organic cacao butter into a bowl. Lay the bowl on top of the boiling water and wait for it to melt. When the cacao butter melts, add ½ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, ¼ cup of organic honey, and a pinch of Himalayan salt. If the chocolate is not sweet enough, then add more honey. Stir the mixture until it turns black.

Step 6: Finishing Touches

Get the brownies from the freezer, and pour as much chocolate as you like into the pan. After you pour the chocolate into the pan, place the brownies back in freezer for about 15 minutes. After that, the brownie should be hard enough to cut through. Enjoy!
