this is so cheap you can do simple or elavorate drawinsgs as you want, you can use black or blue pen or even colors pens wich i dont use, you can start with blue becasuse you can make clear tones more easily, i like to use recycled paper.
i dont use a pencil to trace , i always make mistakes the wrong linesare there just faded by te correct ones and they are part of the final drawing.
semetimes te ink acumulates on the tip of the pen clean it often

Step 1:

you can draw a lot of soft paralel lines and overpose others in diferent direcction to create diferent tones

Step 2:

you can make a lot of random soft lines in all direcctions and ways, try to not make HARD BLACK lines.

Step 3:

you can make HARD BLACK parallel lines

Step 4:

the artists just start drawing and all is so perfect from the begguining, i just trace imaginary lines with the pen beforereally drawing, then i draw the line softly if it is not correct i make it again and again until i get what i want it, all the test lines are part of the drawingso the drawing is basicalli incorrect lines, hope you understand me
