Hello there, nice instructable! I have one question however. Since it uses the USB protocol why is the Vcc not 5V?
I really like this and I have tried to replicate it multiple times without any luck, so at some point it occured to me that maybe my problem is the cable. I didn't have one so I connected the pins directly to the corresponding pins of the parallel port of my pc. So I thought that maybe the cable Evan is using is some kind of crossing cable and this would explain my unsuccessful tries. Could this be the case so should I find a pinout for such crossing cables, or is it just an extension cable and my problem is something else?
I forgot to mention that my problem is the message "No LPT Ports Found" and I have followed the instructions step by step
Thanks man! :) Keep up the good work ;)
I alterated your code a bit and now I can use my arduino, but not my keyboardI actually changed port = new Serial(this, Serial.list(), 115200); toport = new Serial(this, Serial.list(), 115200); Anyway, interesting project! :) Thanks for sharing!
I have one morre serial port connectde. Do I have to disconnect it to work?
No errors or any other messages appear
Nice project! But I have one problem. I uploaded the .ino sketch on the arduino and I downloaded the processing IDE. However, when I run the .pde file it does not recognize the arduino, it gives an output of 0V and the potentiometers don;t work. What am I doing wrong? I have aldeady installed an arduino library available.
