Wow... Dude, looks like you forgot about power supply unit))[you may use smth like powerbank, but...]Anyway, cyclist or pedestrian or anybody who'll wear it needs something that could not disassemble after a couple meters of walk, you know ;)So, I wish you to teach the soldering, find some box and come back when you'll be ready)Keep going, dude, don't stop - and you'll get it! ;)
hi, pretty nice device!)you can use PrtSc (print screen) button on your computer's keyboard and https://pasteboard.co/ for example to ctrl+v screenshots. some of your schematics (photos from your phone) are completely indecipherable, you should replace it.little typo i saw: block schematic under step #7 contains "HT12E" twice instead of "HT12D" on the right.also, i didn't understand: do you use any encryption with wireless comands? because if not, it means that i can sniff wireless message and send it even without password - there is no any security here ;)
hmmm... is it typical enough?) http://www.ebay.com/itm/GPS-Module-Ceramic-Antenna...anyway, if you dunno want 2 use GPS, you may use somethin' like ENC28J60 or ESP8266, and get still same functions without any Pi.you've made nice stuff, but your stuff could be made with only arduino, or only Pi. using both of them is overkill.
lookz concrete! nice! ;)
of course, you even need no raspberry. you may use gps receiver to get time and location. but anyway you should change avr's firmware.
Nice advice: first of all, you should always remove all the semiconductors in this order: ICs, transistors, diodes. Using gas heater, it's not even easy, but it's incredibly too easy to overheat components (especially semiconductors), and get a bucket of trash instead of stuff.
You may add some stuff like apples to speed up, bones to slow down, and other pickable stuff to reverse direction for example, or to multiply/add scores, or even some magic pot to go through obstacles. Maybe, levels, where you must kick (just add 1 button) obstacles instead of avoiding them. It's good enough diy practice, but old used android for same price will be much better for gaming at home and especially at travel. Power on your imagination, squeeze all juice from your hardware - it can be much more entertaining!)
+better use step-down or pwm, e.g., on 555 timer. line regulators is for low power and precise devices only nowadays, like adc, etc
voted4u, good luck! :)
