You don't want to connect this setup to any kind of gear that is valuable as it might damage it. Amplifiers' outputs are made for speakers with specific impedance (4Ω, 8Ω, 16Ω). Plugging something that is out of specs for your amp (in this case something between 0~10000Ω) is not guaranteed to either:(1) work(2) not destroy your ampYou need to have a active volume knob, with a fixed or selectable input impedance. This kind of circuit will also quite happily drive the Left and Right channels separately.The only problem with the active knob is that the input impedances (one per channel, between signal and ground) need to be rated for the power of the amplifier, in this case; 100W (big resistor).
