    Thank you for your comment.The significance of this is for amateur Cubesat satellites which usually use frequences at 144 MHz (or 435) MHz. I show that it is possible to print an antenna for these frequencies to a size that fits the panel on a cubesat. In all other published literature, the frequencies for printed antenna are at 2.4 Giga hertz and above!With this flat plate antenna an amateur satellite does not need to have a wire antenna and the extra weight of a circuit and fuse wire to deploy it.For any other frequency, you need (twice) a length of a quarter wave plus some inductance, either on the end ("capacity hat" , middle or base "loading"). Like a small coil. Better to print it than to add another component. Experiment with printed boards and measure the swr.t…
