Nice job. I probably would have just clear-coated the wheel-barrow after a quick once over with the wire wheel to keep the rustic look. Interesting, with the sugar and water on the tire. That's a new one on me.

Now, that's a really practical, useful tool! Great for soldering when you need a hand to hold the component and another to hold the soldering iron. Thanks.

Rather than just wiping it down, you may want to take a wire wheel to that rust. Otherwise the surface is less than ideal to affix tape to (in other words, it'll pull away and fall off). Tape is only as good as the surface you stick it to. You may want to undercoat the rest of that chassis while you're under there. heh heh.

Another possiblity is to make it a squat toilet like the ones I encountered in europe. Just squat over the porcelain hole and there's no cold seat to sit on. Not as comfortable if your knees are bad, but easier to clean than a bowl and squatting is actually a good position for taking care of business rather than sitting.

Beautiful finished job. I wonder how useful it being on wheels really is? Could that construction (standard stick built) actually withstand any kind of haul down a road? It's not built as a trailer. Other than moving it from one point on the property to another, I can't see the point of building on a trailer. Eliminate that and save a bundle. When they move stick built homes, they creep very very slowly down the road. Everything would have to be reinforced (framing, plumbing) to make it really practical for transport. But still, a very cool little home with excellent instructions. Good job!

A gentleman might consider sitting rather than standing to take care of peeing and thus eliminate the rather nasty splattering that occurs and also reduce the need for constant cleaning of walls, floors, seats. It may seem less "manly" for some, but it sure cuts down on the mess.

While a nice idea, I find that once a space is opened in my garage, it is quickly filled with something else. This table requires that you keep the space around the legs open in order to fold them outwards thus eliminating the benefit of providing extra garage space. A stationary table that you just stash junk underneath might actually work just as well, or better.

I'm glad to see you were able to make use of the pallet wood. It seems to be oak or some kind of hardwood used in most pallets and it always pains me to see it discarded after a few uses. It makes good firewood but it's a shame most just rots away behind a warehouse. Nice looking speakers. You can find many full range mini speakers at Parts Express(not related to them) if you want to upgrade your speakers.

Exactly. The mice know those things are toxic and stay away while we let our clothes become impregnated in the chemicals just so they can feel a bit softer. Crazy.

You were probably tanned from the tea. Once the skin is burned, nothing can reverse this anymore than you can reverse the cooking of a steak in a pan. Flesh has been burned. Non-reversable. Only healing will eventually replace the damaged skin.
- BeanieandCecilC commented on wilgubeast's instructable 11 Unusual Uses for Baby OilView Instructable »
While it has the innocent name of "baby oil", it's really just petroleum, pure and simple and shouldn't be rubbed on skin of anyone, baby or adult. It clogs pores of the skin and prevents the skin from detoxing. Coconut oil, shea butter, olive oil are better alternatives. Same goes for vaseline which people rub on their lips and ingest. It's just refined motor oil and is toxic--puts stress on the liver, carries away fat soluble vitamins. Both are best used on machine parts but not on the body.

I've never seen black pudding in my grocery store but do have a polish store by me that supplies kishka which, I believe is similar. You wouldn't have to eat again for a couple days after consuming all that protein. No kidneys?

No, I'm not comparing to foot-binding, just to the practicality of walking in these shoes. Same as trying to walk in very tall stiletto heels. People will put themselves through discomfort and basically hinder their own ability to move with ease in order to appear fashionable. best to you as well.

Well said. As an art piece, they are interesting to look at but as a functional shoe?? There was a 1972 documentary called, Beauty Knows No Pain. I think that phrase applies here.

- BeanieandCecilC commented on Darko K's instructable Bookshelf ChairView Instructable »
Nice chair. I would probably put boards over the top shelves(slightly below the chair level) rather than leaving them open and then place cushioning on these boards to use as arm rests. With the picture posted, you'd be constantly knocking books off the shelves as there is no place to put one's arms. You could leave a space on the top boards without padding in order to rest a drink. But great use of space.
Very cool. Reminds me of my days burning things with a magnifying glass as a kid. Just a health suggestion, don't drink coffee from aluminum pots. Acids eat at the aluminum, you ingest, aluminum sits in organs for perpetuity(like the brain). Not healthy.
