I cut the pieces to length and angle with a powered mitre saw but had to exercise my limited hand-tool skills on the joints (as I fear is pretty obvious from the photo). I enjoyed making it though, and thanks for posting the project.David C.
A slight variant on the original but essentially the same thing. Good fun to make.
Not quite as in the original plan, and I didn't really get the perpendiculars right, but I enjoyed making it. Thanks to _mpo_.
