Nice build! Lots of disciplines touched on here... need to be a well rounded builder to pull this off alone.
Step 10: "...the higher the sandpaper number, the coarse and rough finish we get..." This is backwards. The number refers to the "grit" of the sandpaper and the number is inversely related to the grit size. Low numbers = more coarse, high numbers = less coarse.
Step 5: "...wrap them in foil and let then let them cook for another or two."Another hour or two, I assume.I cook short ribs this way using applewood and it's sooooo good. Nice instructible!
The oil paint comes out of the tube a very dark brown but in thin layers it's the lighter color you see on the tubing. When you rub the paint into the texture you created, then wipe it off the surface it's dark in the cracks and lighter where they aren't.
