Even with a long freezing time, if your chocolate has not been tempered, it will not snap. An easy way to temper chocolate is to melt it in microwave oven stopping every 10 to 15 sec to stir well. When approximately three quarters of the chocolate is melted, just take it off the oven and stir until it looks smooth. Also, the chocolate must be of top quality, with only cocoa butter as fat. There are other ways to temper chocolate, involving very fiddly temperature checking... This way always worked for me.

Wow, your quiche looks so good! I am French and never found some Herbe de Provence with lavander in the mix...However, I am sorry to say that you could not call your quiche "lorraine". It's really, really far from a real quiche lorraine, and lorrains (the people from Lorraine) are pretty picky with their quiche : it's a crust filled with bacon and a mix of cream and eggs. And that's all. No cheese (so it's a quiche vosgienne), no onion (it's a quiche alsacienne). Lorraine, Vosges and Alsace are all in the East of France, a region where you couldn't find easily pepper, tomatoes, and the herbs that are composing Herbes de Provence. It's easy to find, on the other hand, in... Provence! as it is in the south of France, near of Italy. Actually, it looks like more of a quiche provença…

It may have been a possible recipe for kings, I suppose, as it represents the whole country of France, from a border to another.I never tried to make just a foundation of crust, it's interesting, we may try this quiche!
Hi! This is great, I've wanted to make woven bracelets for a while, but I have way too many projects for now... Actually, your bracelets look like tiny tapestries, it's cute and so lovely! You may be interested by tapestry techniques to make them even better. For example, in any weaving, you should avoid drawing the warp in, it may causes tension issues. Of course, with a warp as short, it's not a real probleme, but it's always good to have strong basis I think!I will try that very soon ^^Thank you for your instructables!
Harvesting Bark From Downed Trees for Baskets
When I was a kid, I had plenty of books about DIY for children, and in one of them, there was that chapter about basket weaving - I was fascinated by it. I remember a picture of a basket made with bark (chestnut I think I remember, but I can be wrong), and that drawknife thing I didn't know the name. I am so thrilled to finally discover in detail how it works! As a weaver myself, I am still fascinated by basket weaving, but I have yet to try it!Your Instructable is wonderful, and I totally adhere to your approach. This is exactly what I needed to start cogitating ardently about basket weaving...

I love stroopwafels... I once was gifted a pack of them (from the Hema store) and fall instantly in love. I tried to make them myself, with a recipe from The Dutch Table, but I obtained waffels that were quite tender. Hema Stroopwaffels are crunchy, quite like "Gaufres dunkerquoises" (a variety of waffels from the northern coast of France, that are very crunchy). Does your recipe give crunchy waffels? They look to be lovely crunchy... Thank you to give us your Dad's recipe, family recipes are the best!
It's even worse when you know how it tastes... It's not a very difficult pie, you should give it a try, and ease your watering mouth! ^^

Merci, c'est gentil ^^
That's very interesting, both visually and conceptually, if I can say. Even if I would seat cautiously the first time ^^.However, I am concerned about the abrasion that could occur on a seat chair. The wool you used looks already quite fuzzy, I wonder how it will hold in time. A different fiber or a severely twisted structure may be tougher, I think. Or is it a particular wool?
Thank you ^^
Thank you, I hope you will success!
Thank you, I'm not amazing though. Just obsessed ;)
